Medium Red Bromeliad

Commonly known as the Blushing Bromeliad, this epiphytic plant is native to tropical North and South America where it grows on the sides of trees! With its huge central flower stemming from the vase of the radiating deep green leaves, this plant will bring some color and beauty from the outdoors into your home!

Being that it’s from a tropical environment, it thrives in high humidity, warm temperatures (with some cold-hardy types), medium to bright indirect light and will grow up to 2 – 3 ft. tall indoors. This makes them great to place in a bright, humid room such as your bathroom or kitchen!

Over time this plant will lose its central flower, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant’s life cycle and soon pups will form from the sides of the plant, which you can propagate for another bromeliad, or two!
